Two private executive suites

Step back in time when you stay in this traditionally furnished, heritage listed, 1908 homestead. The two-acre mature botanic gardens, gazebo and croquet pitch are yours to enjoy during your stay in either of the two executive suites (Fernshaw and Yarra). Both suites have been beautifully restored and furnished with antiques from the era. Original features such as leadlight stained glass windows, wood floors and paneling, evoke days of yesteryear. The historic town of Healesville offers a good selection of cafes, shops, art spaces, even a winery – all just a pleasant walk from the homestead. All our guests receive discounts at our Argyles Yarra Valley Café, Lifestyle Store and Aveda Concept Spa in Healesville.

A gourmet breakfast basket can be provided in your suite each morning, including freshly baked bread and local produce. Or, if you’d prefer, come and enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at Argyles Yarra Valley Café in Healesville.

Stay that extra night to ensure you have time to enjoy all there is on offer nearby – hot air ballooning, wineries, cellar doors, restaurants, cafes, art galleries, shopping, day spas, picnicking, bush walking, mountain biking, off road driving tracks and wildlife sanctuaries.

Fernshaw Suite

With its own separate entrance, the spacious Fernshaw suite’s positioning on the first floor offers majestic views over the lawns and gardens towards Mt Riddell from its bay window and private balcony. The suite has its own in-room deluxe European spa, en-suite bathroom, Queen size 1890s mahogany bed, dining area, Austar TV and cooking facilities.

Yarra Suite

Opening straight onto beautiful mature gardens from its own entrance, the gazebo and gardens are yours to be enjoyed. This extremely spacious suite has a 1900s Queen size brass bed, comfortable sitting room area, perfect for watching a movie on Austar or curling up with a good book.
