Four rustic farm stay cottages | Argyles Yarra Valley

Only five minutes from the cafes and shops in Healesville town and scenic Badger Weir (fantastic for bush walking and a picnic), our individually styled cottages – Toolebewong, Rose, Tuscan and The Dairy, each have an open wood fire and a spa or bath. Tucked away under beautiful old trees within rambling cottage gardens, on our small boutique family vineyard, the properties have spectacular views to Mt Toolebewong and across the Yarra Valley. Come and experience a true country escape surrounded by farm animals (we have our own cows, chooks, sheep and goat), wonderful birdlife and animals of the Australian bush. We’re a pet friendly bunch, so you’re welcome to bring your dog. And rollaway beds and cots are available on request.

A farmer’s breakfast basket can be provided at your cottage, including fresh farm eggs and other local produce in season. Or, if you’d prefer, come and enjoy breakfast at Argyles Yarra Valley Café in nearby Healesville and let someone else do the cooking. All our guests receive discounts at our Café, Lifestyle Store and Aveda Concept Spa in Healesville.

Tuscan Cottage

This Tuscan-style character cottage is an ideal getaway for couples wanting a quiet weekend away, just the two of you. Alternatively, with its second bedroom, bring along family or friends for a catch up. Nestled in a secluded spot under a magnificent fig tree, you can enjoy wonderful views from the cottage through its picture windows.

The Dairy

The original dairy, which dates back to the 1930s, has been beautifully converted into a charming, rustic open plan B&B, that sleeps up to four in open plan (1 Queen and 2 singles). Experience the history of the building, with its exposed brick floor, stone walls and original tree trunk joists still in position, where each cow stall once was. Relax by the roaring fire or soak for an hour in an indulgent bubble bath.

Toolebewong Cottage

Toolebewong Cottage is a charming three bedroom 1926 period cottage complete with fully equipped kitchen, Coonarra wood fire, indoor spa and a lovely covered outdoor living/BBQ deck area. The cottage can sleep up to six people with various configurations, with two queen sized bedrooms and a lovely north facing single room.

Rose Cottage

Looking out across the roses to the small vineyard and open farmland is our cosy rose-themed cottage ideal for couples. With its open plan studio layout and unique twisted open fireplace you can literally sleep by the fire in winter. With beautiful feature stone walls in each room, a well equipped kitchenette and spa in the spacious bathroom, it provides couples with a perfect private getaway retreat. And whatever the weather, the cottage has reverse cycle heating and air conditioning, you’ll be the perfect temperature year round.
